Silver coins from the first decade of Australian coinage are becoming harder and harder to find in problem free mint state condition. This 1916M shilling is a premium example from the era, the reverse is extremely well struck up and shows some lovely die polishing striations in the fields, the emu is beautiful with all the feathers clear and sharp. We grade this coin as choice uncirculated, PCGS has graded it as MS64.
