One of the first coin releases in the ‘Polar Animals’ series, this coin features the Rockhopper Penguin, one of the world’s smallest penguins and which are easily identifiable by their blood-red eyes, red orange beak and pink webbed feet. They are a friendly and sociable species and can be seen in groups known as colonies.
The coin features traditional coin sculpture as well as colour printing and is presented in a coin-in-card.
