Struck to Uncirculated quality in copper this two coin set commemorates the 110th anniversary of the introduction of the Australian penny. Each coin is reminiscent of the original penny design, one with the simple text and the other a bounding kangaroo -each with the original Mary Gillick portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II and each struck in the one dollar denomination.
This set will appeal to collectors of Australian pre-decimal and decimal coins. Mintage for each coin is limited to 20,000.
