The second coin in the Beauty, Rich and Rare series. The Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland is the world’s most ancient rainforest, estimated to be 180 million years old. So impressive is the forest, Sir David Attenborough called it ‘the most remarkable place on Earth’. It covers approximately 1,200 square-kilometres. Follows on from the successful first coin in the series, the Great Barrier Reef.
