Lovely gilt metal badge with white and black enamel in the shape of the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. Map is split into districts with the town of Minlaton labelled in gilt and located in black enamel. Front of the badge reads “C.Y.P.A.S JUBILEE 1928” which is the abbreviation for the Central Yorke Peninsula Agricultural Society.
30mm high and wide with intact pin / latch on reverse with full gilding. Maker is marked on the reverse, “S.S. & CO.LTD ADELAIDE” which is for Schlank Sons and Company Limited, a well known South Australian badge maker.
