Mis-struck 1949M penny. Coin not aligned properly when struck and as such only partially engaged with collar die. This resulted in a very high lip typical of this sort of partial collar error. Colloquially known by Australian error collectors as a ramstrike error.
Coin is lovely red-brown glossy uncirculated. A premium example of this type of error.
