Australia 1957 Florin Struck Through Folded Fragment Error

SOLD

Coin Type:Australia Florin 2s
Year:1957
Mint:Melbourne Mint
Metal:50% Silver
Obverse:Elizabeth II (Mary Gillick)
Reverse:Coat of Arms (George Kruger Gray)

Large flaw over the portrait on the obverse. This was caused when the coin was struck through a metal fragment or piece of scrap metal. You can easily see the shape of that metal piece and how it was folded at the time of the strike. Very interesting error.

Supplied in an archival Saflip.
