A lovely example of an Australian World War 2 Internment Camp Threepence Token. These circulated in Australian internment camps such as Loveday and Hay. Mostly brown with hints of red and uncirculated. Note the clear signs of the recut die around CAMPS. The die originally said “CAMP” and it was re-cut to say “CAMPS”.

Supplied in an archival SAFLIP.
