One of five coins in the ‘Polar Animals’ series from the Royal Australian Mint. This coin features a Walrus sitting on the ice. The conspicuous tusks of the Walrus and it’s large whiskers set is apart from other seals. The translation of the Walrus’ scientific name means “tooth walking sea horse”.
The coin features traditional coin sculpture as well as colour printing and is presented in a coin-in-card.
