In 1970, the first Indian Pacific left Sydney for Perth, an epic rail journey passing through Australia’s ancient interior. Observing the 50th anniversary of the iconic Indian Pacific, and following the popular 3801 – A Legend of Steam and The Ghan coins, the Royal Australian Mint has released this 2020 50 cent uncirculated coin. Presented on a beautifully designed card, the 2020 Indian Pacific coin celebrates the romance of the transcontinental railway journey from east for west.
