A pre-federation “Shinplaster” promissory note. Issued by Randell & Scott for Hay, Lang’s Crossing on the Murrimbidgee. A genuinely rare item with very few still extant. Note is torn and heavily creased and glued to a card as is every other known example of this shinplaster note type.
