Australia 1967 Cent Straight Partial Collar Error
AUD$65
Coin Type: | Australia 1 Cent |
Grade: | gEF |
Year: | 1967 |
Mint: | Royal Australian MInt |
Metal: | Bronze |
Obverse: | Queen Elizabeth II (Arnold Machin) |
Reverse: | possum (Stuart Devlin) |
Partial collar error where the collar was straight (and not tilted) when the coin was struck. This meant that the obverse was struck accurately with the collar in place but the reverse was struck out of collar and very pancake-like. The rim is often termed a railroad rim.
